ESTABLISHMENT

The GANDHI MEMORIAL SOCIETY (Society) was established on December 17, 2017 to spread the message of truth, non-violence and love given to the world by Mahatma Gandhi. In so doing, the Society also wants to throw light on the lives of other leaders like Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Nelson Mandela and others who followed into the footsteps of the Mahatma.

The purpose of the Society is implemented by various activities such as:

  • Raising the awareness of the importance of the principles of truth, non-violence and love in the day-to-day social life for promoting higher values of life.

  • Exhibition and sale of books, CDs, DVDs and other materials promoting the principles of Truth, Non-violence and Love as exemplified by the lives of Mahatma Gandhi, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Nelson Mandela and others.

  • Celebrating and commemorating the events in the lives of Gandhi, King and Mandela.

  • Screening of movies on the lives of Gandhi, King and Mandela.

  • Publicize these activities through regular and social media.

The Society is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit charitable organization approved by IRS (EIN: 82-3804922).
